Tuner is the TV app for LumaNest TV subscribers. Watch your live channels with a full TV guide, and browse movies and series, all from your sofa.

A LumaNest TV subscription is required. Tuner does not include or sell any channels or content. Subscriptions are sold on lumanest.tv, not in the app.

Everything in your plan, on your TV

Tuner shows the channels, movies and series in your LumaNest TV subscription, with a guide built for a remote control.

  • Live TV with an on-screen guide, Favorites and Most Watched
  • Movies and series with episode lists
  • Choose your channels and categories in your LumaNest TV customer hub; Tuner shows exactly your lineup
  • One-press “USA channels only” filter and category sorting (Featured, your hub’s order, or A to Z)
  • Your phone pairs the TV, so your login never has to be typed
  • No ads, no tracking and no in-app purchases

Features vary a little between TV platforms. The Roku app, for example, sets up by pairing only and doesn’t keep Favorites.

Set up with your phone

No typing with the remote. You need your LumaNest TV line login (the username and password for watching), which is in your customer hub.

  1. Open Tuner on your TV

    A QR code and an 8-character code appear. On Android TV, Google TV, Fire TV and Roku they’re on the first screen; on Samsung and LG, choose Pair with your phone.

  2. Scan the code with your phone

    Point your phone’s camera at the QR code and sign in with your line login. No camera? Go to lumanest.tv/pair on any phone or computer and enter the code.

  3. Tap Connect my TV

    Tuner sets itself up and loads your channels. Only approve a code that’s on your own TV screen right now.

Prefer to type it in? On Android TV, Google TV, Fire TV, Samsung and LG you can enter your playlist details in Tuner’s Settings instead. Step-by-step help for each TV is at lumanest.tv/apps.

Supported TVs

Where Tuner runs today, and how to install it. lumanest.tv/apps always has the current install steps for each device.

Android TV, Google TV and Fire TV Available

For Google TV, Android TV and Amazon Fire TV devices running Android 6.0 or later. Install with the guided steps at lumanest.tv/apps.

LG TV Developer install

For LG webOS TVs. Installed from a computer using LG’s Developer Mode, with guided steps at lumanest.tv/apps.

Roku Developer install

For Roku TVs and players. Installed from a computer using Roku’s developer installer, with guided steps at lumanest.tv/apps.

Samsung TV Temporarily unavailable

The Samsung app isn’t available to install right now. In the meantime, try the LumaNest TV web player in your TV’s browser.

Apple TV Coming soon

An Apple TV version is in development. It isn’t available yet.

Once an app store approves Tuner, you’ll be able to find it there as “Tuner by LumaNest TV”.

Private by design

Tuner has no account of its own and no tracking.

  • No ads, no analytics and no advertising IDs.
  • No access to your location, contacts, camera or microphone.
  • Your line login, favorites and settings are kept on your TV.
  • Tuner talks only to lumanest.tv (for pairing) and to the LumaNest TV service that delivers your channels, plus the image and guide sources described in our privacy policy.
